What we did...
We used iPads, several apps, a student friendly rubric we designed based on one we found on the Florida Center for Reading Research, and material from our reading series, to develop a way for our students to independently practice repeated reading. Students were highly motivated to practice because of the high interest created from using the iPads and the opportunity to have conversation and interaction with peer partners.
